Inclusion should ensure that all individuals within the health and social care system have the same access to resources and share the same benefits.

Dylai cynhwysiant sicrhau bod gan bawb, o fewn y system iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol, yr un mynediad i adnoddau ac yn rhannu'r un manteision.

Creating an inclusive culture for all staff and individuals

This should include individuals with mental health problems or learning disabilities or individuals living on low incomes.

There should be respect for all individuals and an understanding that we all have the right to good health and social care services when they are needed.

Inclusion is about paying attention to all aspects of an individual's life and supporting him or her to take part in the things that give life meaning for them.

An inclusive culture ensures that individuals are not treated unfairly and that negative stereotypes are challenged.

Dylai hyn gynnwys unigolion â phroblemau iechyd meddwl neu anawsterau dysgu, neu unigolion sy'n byw ar incwm isel.

Dylai bob unigolyn cael eu parchu a dylai fod dealltwriaeth bod gan bob un ohonom yr hawl i ddefnyddio gwasanaethau iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol da pan fydd eu hangen.

Mae cynhwysiant yn golygu rhoi sylw i bob agwedd ar fywyd unigolyn a'i gefnogi ef neu hi i gymryd rhan yn y pethau sy'n rhoi rheswm ar fywyd iddynt.

Mae diwylliant cynhwysol yn sicrhau bod unigolion ddim yn cael eu trin yn annheg a bod stereoteipiau negyddol yn cael eu herio.

Challenging stereotypes

Herio stereoteipiau

A stereotype reflects the perception an individual has of another individual based on their physical abilities or appearance, beliefs, sexual orientation or ethnicity without knowing anything about that individual. These stereotypical views are often connected to other influences such as the views of friends or family or the media.

Individuals in the groups below often have stereotypes attached to them. What do you think these might be?

The first has been started for you.

Then discuss with a partner how you could avoid discrimination based on each of the preconceived stereotypes.

Mae stereoteip yn adlewyrchu'r argraff mae unigolyn yn cael o unigolyn arall, wedi ei seilio ar eu gallu neu olwg corfforol, eu credoau, tueddfryd rhywiol neu ethnigrwydd, heb wybod unrhyw beth am yr unigolyn hwnnw. Mae barnau stereoteipio fel hyn yn aml yn gysylltiedig â dylanwadau eraill megis barn ffrindiau neu deulu neu'r cyfryngau.

Yn aml, mae gan unigolion yn y grwpiau isod stereoteipiau sy'n gysylltiedig â hwy. Beth ydych chi'n credu gallai'r rhain fod?

Mae’r un cyntaf wedi’i ddechrau i chi.

Yna trafodwch gyda phartner sut y gallech osgoi gwahaniaethu yn seiliedig ar bob un o'r stereoteipiau sydd wedi eu rhagdybio.
